I mowed the runway on Wednesday evening - it's in good shape for the event. ---plan to go out Saturday and paint new lines on the field and do some test and tune, etc.

FYI: see the new post in "members only" section...

Sunday: SPAD combat + paint ball anyone?? I've got a couple ready and 5 new 8x3 props :D

I'll bring the paint ball stuff, but I don't have a plane to shoot at. See you there!

Another nice funfly in the record book, good turnout considering the weather, not too bad, cool, breezy, bugs etc., great food, thanks Pam and others who pitched in.

It's been a year in the making but Jessie maidened her FW190. It flew nice but not without an incedent, it midaired with Rob Webb's electric 3-D ship, no damage to the 190 but her prop tore up Robs wing and airleron. There was a a couple of other incedents too and unfortunatly my day sucked. I lost a plane, no, I didn't crash it, I LOST IT. I don't even have engine, radio, servo's etc. to take home and put in a new plane.

Yeah, I know, Woody and I clamored all over that rock and I followed it along the shoreline, Woody even went out into that meadow and we found nothing. I was hoping to find it in the trees on the rock but no luck.

I'm still kinda bummed about it, I don't know how I let it get so far away. I do know when I had the 11 X 4 prop on it, it flew slower, but the last couple of times I flew it, I had a 10 X 6 prop and it flew much faster.

I've been working on my Pawnee a little at a time, need to get serious about it and get it finished.

Edit, added this on. Just came back from Begich, nice evening for park flying. Ran 3 batteries through my S.E.5a and maidened my Sopwith Pup. A bad landing pulled the landing gear loose, no damage to the plane. Very small turnout as far as pilots and planes.
